250 for 250 Fitness Challenge
Celebrate America's 250th by getting active! The 250 for 250 Fitness Challenge invites individuals of all ages to log 250 miles between January 1 and July 1.
How It Works:
- Register through the activity link below
- Tracker sheets will be emailed to registered participants beginning on January 1
- Track your miles at your own pace
- Completed tracker sheets must be submitted to Parks & Rec by July 1 to be recognized as a finisher
Recognition:
- Finishers will be entered into a raffle for a prize drawing and will be announced at the July 8 Summer Concert, part of our 250th American-themed celebration
Notes:
- Miles may be completed walking, running, hiking, biking or even swimming
- Participants may start anytime but must submit their completed tracker by July 1
- Please choose safe routes and activities that work for your fitness level
*NEW UPDATE* Challenge registrants are invited to try one Parks & Recreation fitness class for free during the month of February. It’s a great opportunity to try something new and keep the momentum going.

• Choose one of the classes below to try
• Valid during February on the dates listed below
Available Fitness Classes & Dates:
• Zumba- Monday, 2/9 or 2/23 6:30–7:30 PM
• Tone & Move w/Resistance Bands – Monday, 2/9 4:00–5:00 PM
• Sculpt & Tone w/Weights – Wednesday, 2/18 3:30–4:30 PM
• Line Dance for Fitness – Wednesday, 2/11 6:00–7:00 PM
• Vinyasa Yoga & iRest Yoga Nidra – Monday, 2/23 6:15–7:15 PM
• Tai Chi & Qigong – Monday, 2/9 or 2/23 9:15–10:15 AM
